Hyde Park

Talk about iconic. You can’t have London without Hyde Park. The two are a world-renowned duo and with good reason. Located in the heart of the busy city, Hyde Park is a vast open space and a refreshing contrast to the hustle and bustle of London. From the Serpentine and the squirrels to the multitude of walking paths, and cafes, Hyde Park offers a little something for everyone in its 350 plus acres.

Regent’s Park

The first royal park on our list, Regent’s Park is as grand as its name suggests. And, is a wonderful spot to explore if you are on the hunt for some stunning florals. Queen Mary’s Gardens is one of the best places in London to see and smell flowers with more than 30,000 rose bushes blooming in spring.

Greenwich Park

Sprawling grounds, an insta-worthy lookout and a flower garden that comes alive in spring? Tick, tick and tick. Greenwich Park is your go-to spot for a retreat outside of the busy London life, offering one of the best arrays of tulips and daffodils you will find anywhere. Want to add a little more to your day? Visit The Royal Observatory and learn about time and astronomy.

Kew Gardens

Located in in southwest London, Kew Gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-see in spring. Boasting more than 330 acres of gorgeous terrain, rare flowers, carnivorous plants housed in Palm House – a temperate Victorian glass greenhouse – and the Princess of Wales Conservatory, Kew Gardens is the perfect place to get a healthy dose of nature and architecture. With more than 8 million plants to see, you can easily spend a full day at the gardens!

St James’s Park

Offering only 56 acres, St James’s Park may be small in comparison to other parks listed. However, it is still one of the most gorgeous places in London to take in some green space. During spring the flower beds are in full bloom and provide a lovely pop of colour to the city, but that’s not the only delight of the park. Take a stroll and see if you can spot the iconic pelicans!

Battersea Park

Situated beside the Thames in the southwest of London, Battersea Park is usually filled with runners and walkers pounding the pavement regardless of the weather. But in spring, it becomes a stunning display of flora. A tunnel of pale pink cherry blossoms and deep pink plum blossoms bloom through the middle of the park making for the perfect place to snap a pic.

London is an amazing place to be in all seasons but there is something truly special about spring. Enjoying the sights and sounds of the city under the blue skies is an unforgettable experience, made even better by the beautiful parks scattered around.
