Explore Windsor, Eton, and Stonehenge with our private day tour. After being picked up from your central London hotel, you will venture out to your destinations in a private luxury car and get to experience Windsor Castle, the mysterious Stonehenge, and historic Eton.
Your knowledgeable guide will share stories and facts about the locations, and you will have entry to Windsor Castle and Stonehenge.
Windsor
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and sits proudly on a lush, wooded hill overlooking the River Thames. Favoured by royals past and present, the castle is a magnificent piece of rich British history and draws in visitors from all over the world. Inside Windsor Castle, you can visit Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, see the lavish State Apartments, enjoy priceless artworks by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci and visit St. George’s Chapel. As well as the castle, the town of Windsor offers a range of shops and eateries and is a beautiful place to walk around.
Eton
Remaining unchanged, Eton town is a famous area where many well-known celebrities, royals and politicians have been schooled in the exclusive public school, Eton College. Your guide will show you around the town and you will get to explore the main Eton High Street soaking up the archaeological delights of the area.
Stonehenge
Mysterious and magical, Stonehenge is a must-see for anyone who ventures into England. The true meaning of this ancient creation may have been lost in time but the awe-inspiring nature of it remains. On this tour, you will get access to Stonehenge, where you can walk around at leisure, take pictures, and explore the attached museum where you can learn more about the history of the site.
