Home to William Shakespeare, and situated in the Warwickshire countryside, the beautiful market town of Stratford-upon-Avon is a bucket list place for many people, and you will have the chance to tick it off yours! Filled with picturesque half-timbered houses, rich history, and quaint streets, the town welcomes visitors from all over the world to see where the legendary Bard was born, baptised, married and buried. During your tour, your informative guide will give you insights into Shakespeare’s life, and you will get to explore the town and enjoy a stroll by the River Avon.
Warwick Castle
On this tour, you will also have access tickets to Warwick Castle to enjoy one of England’s most iconic and famous attractions The castle was built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, and it has seen bloody battles, shocking betrayals, and surprise attacks. You will have the chance to immerse yourself in the medieval world, see the amazing State Rooms and the Dungeon, and learn about the Bear Tower, Watergate Tower, and the Guard’s Room.
The tour will finish at approximately 7:30pm, subject to traffic conditions. You will be dropped back at your Central London hotel.
