Description
Experience the best of London on a guided private half-day or full-day tour. You will be picked up from your Central London hotel in a private luxury car and escorted around with a professional and informative guide.
During the tour, you will get to explore some of London’s most famous locations and landmarks including St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, and the City of London.
City of London
From the Great Fire in 1666 to the Blitz of 1940-1, London has a long and enduring history and incredible views to match. As you drive through the City of London, your guide will dive into the history of each area and provide you with interesting facts and stories. You will make your way through the financial district before coming across the magnificent St Paul’s Cathedral.
St Paul’s Cathedral
Dedicated to Paul the Apostle, there has been a Cathedral on the same site since 604 AD, but the one we know and love today was created by Sir Christopher Wren in the 17th century after the Great Fire of London. Home to many historic events such as the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles (later King Charles III), the Cathedral is also the final resting place for multiple prominent figures such as Admiral Lord Nelson, and Sir Christopher Wren himself.
Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey is one of the city’s most iconic buildings and has a full and rich history. Benedictine monks first started worshipping at the site in the middle of the 10th century and the current building has been there for over 700 years. If you have selected the full-day tour option, you will get access tickets to Westminster Abbey.
Tower of London
The formidable Tower of London was built in the 11th century and has earned a chilling reputation. Once home to wild animals, ‘The Royal Beasts’, the Royal Mint and a prison, the tower has a long and interesting history. If you have selected the full-day tour option, you will get access tickets to the Tower of London and get to see the Crown Jewels.
At the end of your tour, you will be dropped back at your Central London hotel.
