Description
Tate Modern Gallery Tour
Explore the Tate Modern collections with the guidance of a Tate expert on the Discovery Tour. Expect to be inspired and informed during the one-hour tour of the main collections, as you learn about the artwork on display and a range of famous artists. The tour will include various pieces within the ‘must-see’ category.
Part of the Tate network of galleries in England, with Tate Britain, Tate Liverpool and Tate St Ives, Tate Modern hosts art created from or after 1900 and is one of the world's largest museums of modern and contemporary art. Tate Modern has paintings, sculptures and large-scale installations from worldwide artists including Pablo Picasso, Yayoi Kusama and Henri Matisse, as well as exhibitions and an iconic Turbine Hall where live performances and videos often take place.
Afternoon Tea
Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea in Tate Modern with miniature masterpieces and views of St Paul's Cathedral from the skyline restaurant. A quirky twist on all the classics; enjoy still-warm scones, finger sandwiches, and perfect patisseries. Served with a selection of teas or coffee.
Whether you want to unwind with a hot drink and some delightful nibbles after seeing Tate Modern’s artworks and exhibitions or would like to skip the tour and head straight to afternoon tea – the choice is yours.
You can select the tour and afternoon tea as one ticket, or as separate tickets.
