Description
The Wizard Walk of London will take you on a magical walking journey through the city in search of sorcery and enchantment. Join your expert guide and potter about London exploring magical places and wizardry locations.
Starting in Leadenhall Market, you will then move along the street to see the building that was used as the entrance to the pub ‘The Leaky Cauldron’ from the first Harry Potter movie and learn some fun facts about how they brought the famous area to life! Next, you will move on to the pub the George & Vulture – which has served as inspiration for many different writers before exploring Threadneedle Street and the exterior of the Bank of England. This famous bank served as the inspiration for the way Gringotts Bank operated.
The tour will also take you to St Paul’s Catherdral which is seen in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and then to the City of London School where Daniel Radcliffe was educated. Moving on, you will see Millennium Bridge – the famous bridge which was destroyed in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by the Death Eaters. You will also pass the iconic Globe Theatre and learn about the influence Shakespeare had on J.K. Rowling and in turn the Harry Potter franchise.
To end the tour will walk to Clink Prison Museum, which is said to be an inspiration for Azkaban, and then Borough Market, which you might recognise from the Knight Bus scene in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – that wild and wacky bus ride was filmed in this area.
This Wizard Walking Tour of London is a spell-binding and exciting venture around some of London’s most iconic locations and landmarks and is a must-do for all Harry Potter fans!
