On the tour, you will learn what inspired these great writers, what their lives were like in the historic town, and the important and inspiring legacy they left behind for readers, writers, and lovers of literature the world over.
You will visit St Mary’s University Church – where C.S. Lewis and Cardinal Newman preached, learn about Christian history including the Oxford Martyrs, and step inside Magdalen College. Known for its beautiful medieval hall, chapel, quadrangle, lovely gardens, and deer park, you can walk in the footsteps of C.S. Lewis and his friends along the famous Addison's path where they strolled on many midsummer evenings to discuss their ideas.
Plus, when open to the public, this tour will allow you entry to Tolkien’s Exeter College which hosts pre-Raphaelite art and an exquisite garden.
