Description
Strawberry Fields Forever. We all know the song, and now you can experience the real thing. Visit the former Salvation Army site where John Lennon played as a child and the place that went on to be the inspiration for the world-famous song known by generations of people across the world.
Through this interactive visitor exhibition and garden tour, learn about the history of Strawberry Fields and its time as a home for Liverpool’s vulnerable youth, John Legend’s childhood and what inspired him to write one of the Beatles’ most famous songs. There will be a host of immersive multimedia and memorabilia showcasing what went on behind the famous red gates, including the iconic 'Imagine' Piano!
Remaining true to its origins, every visit or donation goes towards funding the Steps at Strawberry Field programmes which help young people with learning difficulties or other barriers to employment.
So, head to Liverpool to visit this must-see exhibition about the life and times of the wonderful John Lennon.
